O2 Optix are 1-2 week disposable contact lenses manufactured by Ciba Vision. These lenses provide extremely high levels of oxygen transmissibility, which helps to keep your eyes staying white and healthy. No need to remove them, not for a nap, or even up to six nights of extended wear. With contact lenses, irritation is often due to the accumulation of deposits on the lens. Lipids and proteins are produced naturally by the eye, which causes deposit-buildup on lenses during the day. Routine handling also produces deposits. The patented surface treatment of O2 Optix resists deposits to contribute to healthy lens wear.
